Paul Maholm pitched a gem tonight.

Matt Capps blew it.
After Paul went 7 innings and allowing no runs, Jim Tracy..I mean John Russell pulls Maholm. Yates gives up a run in the 8th on a sac fly, but the Bucs protested the call, went to third, where Jack Wilson stepped on the base, the umpire signals the runner is out. Bucs still lead 1-0.
Then the 9th inning..Matt Capps comes in and promply gives up a ground rule double, and the serves up a 2 run homerun to Brad Haupe. Capps goes on to allow another run, and probably would stil be giving up the runs, except for the Rockies baserunning lead to the final out of the inning. Robinzon Diaz makes the tag on Matt Murton the third base line. 3-1 Rockies now lead.
Houston Street closes it out in the 9th for the Rockies.
