Still Room On Rockies Bandwagon

Dinger would be the dumbest mascot ever if not for the Phillie Phanatic. No offense, Chutley.
The Colorado Rockies‘ franchise record for consecutive victories is 11 and they’re cruising at two wins away right now. They came back from a three-run deficit Friday night to beat the Seattle Mariners 6-5, with right-hander Ubaldo Jimenez (5-6, 3.92 ERA) tossing a complete game.
During this hot streak, the Rockies rotation is averaging seven innings per game. In fact, their 6.2 innings during each start is roughly an inning longer than usual since Jim Tracy took over, giving them an 11-4 record since May 29th. More innings apparently equals more wins. Geez, why didn’t Clint Hurdle think of that?
