Had a great week of picks and as usual, I was correct on my “game of the week” and “upset special” picks. Not too many good games this week because most of the rivalry games are next week.

#25 California Golden Bears VS #17 Stanford Cardinals

The rivalry known as “The Big Game” has a little extra something going into this one as both teams are coming off of big victories. I think Stanford’s offense is one of the best in the country and I see them winning this game in a shootout.

Mississippi over #8 LSU

Both teams are even on paper and Ole Miss is coming off an impressive victory over Tennessee, while LSU barely beat Louisiana Tech. I hate to put the game on one player, but if Jevan Snead doesn’t turn the ball over, which he loves to do, Ole Miss won’t have a problem pulling the upset.

#6 Boise State VS Utah State - Another blowout victory for Boise. 56-10 Boise State

#1 Florida VS FIU - Tune-up for Florida State and Alabama. 42-13 Florida

#2 Alabama VS Chattanooga - Tune-up for Auburn and Florida. 38-3 Bama

#3 Texas VS Kansas - With all the problems going on at Kansas, look for this one to be over by the 3rd quarter. 42-17 Texas

#4 TCU VS Wyoming - Should be over by halftime. 52-6 TCU

#10 Ohio State VS Michigan - Close game, but the Buckeyes will pull it out. 28-21 Ohio St

#11 Oregon VS Arizona - The Wildcats won’t be in the race for the Rose Bowl after this game. 31-14 Oregon

#13 Iowa VS Minnesota - Finally, the Hawkeyes will get back in the winner’s circle. Barely. 21-17 Iowa

#14 Penn State VS Michigan State - I like Michigan State to pull the upset in this one. 28-14 Michigan State

#15 Virginia Tech VS North Carolina State - NC ST will hang around for a little bit, but then Tech’s defense will shut it down. 24-7 VT

#16 Wisconsin VS Northwestern - The Badgers are going to dominate from start to finish. 28-7 Wisconsin

#19 Oregon State VS Washington State - This one should be over by the 3rd quarter. 49-13 Oregon St

#20 Miami VS Duke - This game will be close until the 3rd quarter. That’s when Miami will blow it open. 45-20 Miami

#21 Utah VS San Diego State - Utah will rebound from the beating they got last week. 35-13 Utah

#22 BYU VS Air Force - Should be over by the 3rd quarter. 49-21 BYU

#23 Clemson VS Virginia - Clemson is headed to the ACC championship game. 38-10 Clemson

#24 Houston VS Memphis - Look for this one to be over by halftime. 55-17 Houston
