Dallas Cowboys: Kill Flies With Sledge Hammers!

That’s what this team needs to learn how to do. That’s what they need to do to the Foreskins…just as the Giants did. I love Keith Brooking as a player, but he said something after the Saints game that gave me concern. He said something to the effect of “We thought we had them down for the count (at 24-3), but they came back”.
My concern is that sentiment more than hints that the Cowboys let up in the 2nd half…against a team that can score like the Lakers. Why would Brooking or any player think that the Saints were out of it at 24-3? Why think and perform like ANY NFL team is done at 24-3 in the 3rd-Q? Do the Cowboys think that since the Foreskins’ season is done that they will roll over this Sunday? Will the Cowboys let up on the Foreskins (or Iggles) if they get them down big?
At 24-3, the Cowboys should have been thinking (as I was), “We need to score about 3 more TDs to be SORTA safe.” Going into WashingTOON, they need to be thinking, “We need to play like it’s a playoff game. We need to OBLITERATE these chumps! The Giants scored 45 on’em. Our goal is to score ‘FITTY’ on’em and hold’em to a field goal, if that much”.
That’s the kind of every-game “KILL” mode that will make me a believer in the Cowboys as a CONSISTENTLY good team.
“CRYYYYYY HAVOC…and let slip the dogs of WAR” on the Foreskins…and then on the Iggles!
Will they do it?
What’s YOUR criteria for believing in this team as a serious playoff contender and playoff winner?
