Matt McGuire’s 2010 NFL Draft - Big Board

If you didn’t know, I went down to Mobile, Ala. for the Senior Bowl. I always enjoy going down there to hear what other draftniks are thinking. I also enjoy talking to some of my insider contacts to get a good feel of where the NFL stands on certain prospects.
One player who made a huge jump on my latest Big Board update is Tennessee defensive tackle Dan Williams, who dominated all week long at the Senior Bowl. He can play the 3-4 zero-technique (nose tackle), he can play the 1-technique, or he can also play some 3-technique if you need him to. He’s very powerful and is a master of shedding blocks. He has deceptive athleticism though there are concerns within NFL circles whether he has the work ethic to be a great player in the league. He’s too good to be any lower than he is (No. 15) currently on my board, and I think he turned the corner last season for Monte Kiffin and will be a disruptive force in the NFL.
