It’s mock draft time, and boy, do we love studying mock drafts. Not because we believe them – unless of course their pick matches our own thoughts on who we should pick, then they are gospel! Otherwise, they’re mainly fun because they focus attention on players or positions that we can sit around and endlessly talk about. Because that’s what we do, especially in the offseason with seven weeks still to go to draft weekend.

As always, we recommend starting with Raf’s Mock 3.0. In this week’s mock draft summary, we give special attention to the SB Nation Mock Draft 1.0. in which SB Nation’s network of bloggers break down the first round. SB Nation’s resident draft expert, Mocking The Draft, laid out how he thinks the first round will develop. A team blogger from each SB Nation team site then commented on the pick, analyzing how that player would fit in, and who else the team might look at in that slot. Recommended reading.
