Can you imagine the sort of shady crap you’d have to be involved with for the FEDERAL BUREAU of INVESTIGATION to show up at your doorstep? Yeah, that kind of thing only happens on television… unless you’re Jose Canseco.

I happened to be scanning my Tweetdeck this afternoon when @JoseCanseco (yes, I totally follow him and yes, aside from the fact he has a little trouble with spelling and some anger management issues, it’s pretty entertaining) tweeted the following…

And then, presumably after his chat with the Feds, he gave us this news 22 minutes later…

It looks like the former bash brother-turned underbelly author has indeed been subpoenaed to testify before the grand jury investigating former teammate Roger Clemens for perjury. Washington D.C. has been investigating whether The Rocket lied under oath when he told the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform that he had never once used steroids or human growth hormone, despite the overwhelming evidence against that claim.

On his Twitter page, Canseco went on to compare his life to The Godfather and then, after completely grossing me out (you’ll just have to read it to find out why, I won’t repeat it here) he said, “The shits gonna hit the fan real soon. Stay tooned.”
