The 2009 season for the Tennessee Titans did not go as really anyone expected. Fans went in to the season with Super Bowl expectations, and through the first 6 weeks of the season, what we got out of it was nothing but sheer disappointment. No one saw it coming, regardless of whether you expected this team to win the Super Bowl or hell, even even make the playoffs [...]
This week, our old buddy Robert sat in for Ben as he and Mark discussed World Cup Soccer. They also spent some time on the NBA Finals with special guest, SJ NBA Forum Co-Mod, Tilly and delved into a discussion of celebrations gone awry. Plus, Mark talked about the other major stories in sports while Robert (in place of Ben) kept you up to date with everything happening everywhere. Then there was the Jim Joyce blown call. Check it out[...]
Mark Ingram will be the obvious frontrunner for the 2010 Heisman Trophy, though it’s very difficult to win it twice, especially when you have a teammate that may pull votes away from you. But when you look at the early Heisman field, one player may have the inside track to the award, having a better [...]
Memorial Day weekend, for most, is supposed to be a relaxing 3 (sometimes 4) day weekend, filled with friends and family, sunshine, lots of beer, lawn games, barbecues, and sunburns. There’s also the whole memorial part too, (let’s not forget those who have passed, people!). It’s the unofficial kick off to summer, a time to celebrate.
Unless you’re Kendry Morales. [...]

Ever since his win in Richmond both Kyle Busch and the media have been trying to convince NASCAR fans that there’s a “new Kyle Busch.” Whether some believe it or not is their own personal choice, but here’s something they should believe: Kyle’s older brother is a new Busch.
It was Kurt that swept the May races [...]
In a fierce battle of undefeated super bantamweights, 25-year-old Wilfredo Vazquez Jr. (19-0-1, 16 KO’s) gave a remarkable performance, stopping Hungarian Zsolt Bedak, 26, (15-1, 5 KO’s) at 1:12 in the tenth round to retain his WBO championship. Bedak, who holds 232 amateur fights to his credit along with a victory over Abner Mares at [...]
We have talked a lot through the years, but for anyone that may not know, let’s start with a little background on time served, branch, why the navy, etc.
I served in the US Navy from 1984 to 1993(9 years, 10 months). I chose the Navy because i really liked the opportunities that it offered me [...]
The “All That”…
The Draft: You know how it works. Like all professional leagues in America, the NBA holds one every year. It’s designed, of course, to give the crappy teams leverage in the acquisition of new, young talent. The NBA relatively recently even injected a draft lottery, to supposedly keep said crappy teams from tanking [...]
It’s not where you start, it’s where you finish but in the Coca-Cola 600 it’s not how you start, it’s how you finish.
For Kurt Busch in his No. 2 Miller Lite Dodge he started the evening blistering fast and made it clear early on that he was using every bit of the momentum he received from winning the Sprint All-Star race [...]
