Can Tiger Woods Get It Back Together?

We saw the beautiful imagery of the Masters Tournament where Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson hit it off strong with long-drives, birdie-putts. Eventually, Mickelson turned out as the winner and it seemed like a movie. He won it for his wife, Amy, who is suffering from breast cancer. The lefty deserved it.
But now there is more to the Masters. Both players will be facing each other at Quail Hallow and already into the second round of the tournament, things have gotten a little fishy. More scandals keep coming out there for Tiger but you think he cares now?
Golf is now all he’s focused on. And now it’s time to put that dreaded past behind and get back into the golf shape. Woods finished Round One with a two over-par score, 74. Today, he finished with a five over-par score of a 79. Not what you expect and now he is at plus-7. And here’s some food for thought: he’s hitting higher than the average temperature there in Charlotte.
Woods said he was calm and was focused but didn’t do so well on his chips. Nor did he do so better with his putts. It was just a poor performance and there is nothing you can do about it, really.
Tiger Woods said on his life affecting golf, “I get asked it every day. It doesn’t go away. Does it test you? For sure. Is that an excuse? No.”
Woods missed the cut, sadly.
“It does bother me, no doubt. But now I get to watch real players get it done on the weekend.”
Woods is kind of relaxed to have the weekend off and watch how everyone else does. But it just seems strange to me of him missing the cut. It doesn’t seem people are making the big news of it.
Is Tiger distracted? Is he distracted with the paparazzi following him still after all the sex scandals have been pretty much done? Is it that his wife Elin will never forgive him now? Is there possibly another reason? No, there isn’t. The reason is everything. He was a big-shot guy getting the fame, and now five months later, we are here with Tiger known as a sex-addict.
Woods even missed his son’s first birthday. He recalls that it killed him. He couldn’t stand it. I just feel all the sadness for him. I just don’t get why people hate him and just wish the worst for him now after all that has happened.
Yes, I can agree, he made the wrong choice but what did he do to you? Did he cheat on you? Did he try to hurt you or did he make fun of you or something? The only people that should be mad at him is his family. Now people have said this before, I just had to rephrase for like the thousandth time!
Now let’s get to the topic. Can Tiger Woods pull himself back together? The Masters was our first sign of something. He played well but it wasn’t enough. He didn’t show through in the last round. Quail Hallow here is a big disappointment to me.
I expected Tiger to whoop people’s asses after his break. I thought he seemed pissed and wanted to bring revenge, beating everybody and playing better than you ever seen him before. It hasn’t happened yet but it can soon. I can see it happening. It isn’t the end. There’s a lot of golf to go.
Tiger may pull of something. He can get it back together.
But the question is:
When?
