I woke up this morning not sure if Dan Haren would still be an Arizona Diamondback. Apparently he is. As of last night, the New York Yankees were front-runners to acquire the Dbacks ace, however, they fell out of the front-runner position after turning Arizona down on an offer that included Yankees reliever Joba Chamberlain.

Now that Nebraska is a part of the Big Ten, the Big 10 is actually a 12 team league, while the Big 12 now truly has ten teams. Which of course makes a ton of sense.
