We Know..We know…another article on fantasy football strategy tips. Well maybe this is a little more simplistic than you realize. Whether you play fantasy football for fun or money the strategy tips and advice should remain the same.

A) Have fun with it. We use to play Fantasy Baseball, some of us still do, but overall we got tired of the day to day scorecards and transactions of it. With Fantasy Football you only really need a few hours a week to prepare. Don’t get bogged down every day with transactions, they are all in one neat place in WHAT’S NEW. So relax, sit back and enjoy, no need to watch every day, for the love of god the games are only Sunday, Monday and occasional Saturday or Thursday…

B) Don’t over analyze. IN THIS WEEKS PICKS we will give you our GUESS PICKS and advice as who to start. I am sure if you look to another site you will see someone tell you the opposite!

But we suggest you go with your gut, if you have Palmer and Warner on your roster and can start only one QB, you could spend hours trying to decide. Well DON’T! The 5 Minute rule is now in effect. Here is a tip on how to pick a starter:

• 1) Are they a top 5 rating player for their position this year? If yes, start them, if no or yes to both, let us move on.
• 2) Do they play a TEAM that is in the bottom 10 rating in DEFENSE for the year? If yes, start them…If no or yes to both, next question
• 3) In their last 2 games, are the players on the upswing? If yes, ride the wave and start them..If no , next question
• 4) Go with your gut!…Flip a coin!…send us an email and we will break the tie!

C) Scan the Waiver Wire each week. One man’s garbage is another man’s gold. Make sure you know who is available in your league. Your competitors will not help you, they will just laugh at you.

D) Turn your lineup each week, make sure you do not start people who are hurt or on a bye. There is nothing that upsets an owner more than other owners who do not pay attention or play each week. I do not care if you are 0 - 8, even a blind squirrel finds a nut now and then and we need you to beat the team you are playing, so TRY!
