Week 3 is in the books. Let’s see what we learned.

Arkansas looks legit. Everyone knew that Arkansas’s offense was going to be good but I had some serious doubts about their defense. Arkansas’s defense dominated Georgia for the first three quarters in their 31-24 victory which put Ryan Mallet in the Heisman discussion and setting up a big game with Alabama next week.

The hot seat just got turned up a notch for Mark Richt. The rumblings were heard loud and clear about Mark Richt in Athens after losing at home to Arkansas. Georgia’s team is really young so I’m not that surprised at this, but I guess the folks in Athens are. This loss will most likely eliminate Georgia from getting to Atlanta for the SEC Championship and we are only in week 3.
