Not a whole lot went right for the Dallas Cowboys in 2010. No need to re-hash that mess, but we did get a new coach in Jason Garrett, and our first-round draft pick turned out to be everything we wanted. Dez Bryant made the rest of the NFL take notice, and probably made a lot of teams regret passing on him in the draft.

While ‘wowing’ us with his athletic ability and his acrobatic catches, Bryant laid the foundation for what we hope is a long and stellar career in the NFL, and hopefully that career will be with the Dallas Cowboys. There is one caveat to all of that, and that’s injury. Bryant suffered a high-ankle sprain in training camp that slowed his start to the season, then missed the final month with a fractured fibula. It’s too early to say injury-prone, but it is a concern.

So how is Bryant progressing in his recovery from the fractured fibula? Jason Garrett reports he’s right on schedule.
Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant is progressing in the rehabilitation of his fractured right fibula. “Dez has made progress,” Garrett said Thursday from Indianapolis. “He’s going through his rehab, and it’s been a positive experience for him. We have great people at the Cowboys who take him through that stuff and he’s getting better.”
