Reservation 4 Six: Brandon Marshall stabbed multiple times by wife

Adam Schefter first reported that Brandon Marshall was in intensive care after being stabbed by his wife. The stabbing occurred last night, and Jay Glazer of FOXSports reported that Marshall was not in any “imminent danger.”

Adam Schefter fired back by reporting that Marshall should be fully recovered in 2-3 weeks after he was stabbed in the stomach, but no vital organs were pierced. Schefter also added that doctors have performed surgery on Marshall. Albert Breer later reported that Marshall has wounds in his hands.

Marshall’s wife was arrested last night and charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon. She left jail on a $7,500 bond, and was ordered by the judge to not speak to Marshall. Omar Kelly reports that Marshall has been released from the hospital.

Marshall claims he fell and slipped on a vase.

His wife says she stabbed Marshall in the abdomen with a kitchen knife in self-defense.

If the Dolphins decide to dump Marshall they would only owe him $3 million, Mike Florio of ProFootballTalk points out. Now there is still a lot of this story that needs to be worked out, and I don’t think Marshall will be released anytime soon, especially since there is still a lockout going on.
