We’ve faithfully chronicled the trials and tribulations of Dez Bryant here on BTB this year, and have occasionally let the hullabaloo, brouhaha and mayhem that surrounded many of the news reports about Dez Bryant affect us. Not so Jerry Jones, who seems to be made of some stronger stuff.

The NFL lockout has put a halt on offseason moves for the time being, but at some point the lockout will end and player movement will begin. When it does, there will be a number of moves, both free agent signings and trades, that will impact fantasy player’s values.
Instead of just listing off free agents and…
The Big East must expand the number of teams in their football conference, and must do it very soon. Their current T.V. contract expires after the 2012 season. In 2012, the Big East will have 9 teams in the conference. That is the smallest number of team in any BCS Conference. The only other Conference that has less than 12 teams is the Big 12-2, with 10. The success of the Big 12-2 is still…
Ray Small claims he sold his Big Ten championship rings for cold hard cash when he was at OSU. Who is Ray Small?
Ray Small came into THE Ohio State university with a lot of upside and potential as a recruit hailing from the well known Glenville pipeline of recruits…
First thought, “Damn it!”
Second thought, “Damn it all!”
Thoughts 3 through 25 are all in the same vein so I’ll skip ahead. Once anger subsides some other things become clearer.

With racing fans…as well as with all guys named “Bubba”…there is no middle-ground with Danica Patrick. You either love her or hate her. Non-racing fans. however, either love her, could care less about her one way or the other, don’t know who she is, or…in the case of heterosexual males…wanna bang her. So, in honor of the 100th Indy 500 and Danica’s broad-ranging effect…
Hello everyone and welcome to today’s “The Stack” with me, Nathan Stacken. Let’s hope this blog doesn’t collapse any time soon unlike the Chicago Bulls. Ouch! That was tough to watch. There is plenty to talk about with that game and so much more so let’s get right to “The Stack.”
1. Heat complete comeback, move on to NBA Finals. [...]
Over the past five games of the Eastern Conference finals, a goal has been scored in the first 70 seconds or less four times, three of which were tallied by the Tampa Bay Lightning. That’s a lot of fun for fans to watch and great for the team that gets on the board first, but kind of has me baffled from a hockey standpoint.
What’s happening [...]
Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Championship was absolutely unbelievable. The Chicago Bulls were in the driver’s seat the entire night. Luol Deng had an excellent start in the 1st quarter at both ends of the floor. The Bulls were out rebounding and getting more high percentage shots by shooting more points in the paint than the Heat. Dwayne Wade was not playing a good game by his standards & Derrick Rose was controlling the pace…
My friend Rand Getlin recently wrote a story about “cash-strapped NFL players seeking high-risk ‘lockout loans.’” In his article, Getlin raised many good points, the most salient one being that players need to be very careful of who they work with to secure loans, and more importantly, the interest rates associated with those loans. Just last week, it was reported that a player…
