Game 5: Boston vs. Vancouver, Stanley Cup Playoffs

game5
Vancouver – Despite choppy ice and racing pulses, the first period began with speed and skating only seen in the National Hockey League.
Canuck goalie  Roberto Luongo has been playing with a spectre in the last two games as his counterpart Bruins goaltender Tim Thomas has been praised. Luongo gave away 12 goals to one in games three and four. Luongo made a great save off Patrice Bergeron late in the first period.
Despite no scoring, an action packed first period ended with no score.
Second period action began with a four on four with Milan Lucic and Andre Burrows in the penalty box, the former for tripping and the latter for embellishing. Both goaltenders take over the game in the early part of the second period and carry it through the period.
At 15:50 of the third period, Maxime Lapierre gives the Canucks a 1-0 lead!

At 0:00 1-0 Vancouver! 3-2 Vancouver! Back to Boston for game six!
