Next Monday marks the 26th time that Major League Baseball has hosted a home run derby, and SJ is upping the stakes with a contest of our very own. If you sign up between now and Monday we will randomly assign one of eight players in the home run derby to you. If your player ultimately wins the contest and you are the only one who was assigned said player, you will win a free SJ home run derby t-shirt. If however your player wins, but was also assigned to someone else, we have a predetermined tie breaker procedure to sort out who will win the t-shirt. When you are assigned your player we are asking that you predict your player’s home run total for the FIRST round. In the event of a tie, whoever comes closest to the actual total will win the t-shirt.
