2011 College Football Predictions: Washington State Cougars

With a 2-10 campaign, coach Paul Wulff fell to 5-32 through his first three seasons in Pullman. He wouldn’t be getting a fourth season if he were just about anywhere else.
The school’s lone conference win in 2010, a 31-14 victory at Oregon State, was about the only thing to cheer about. The Cougars lost their other eight conference games by a minimum of seven points.
Offense: Washington State returns seven starters from an offensive unit that finished eighth in the Pac-10 in total offense last season with 330.2 yards per game. The offense ranked dead last in the conference in scoring with 19.6 points per contest.
Quarterback Jeff Tuel didn’t get much national publicity playing on a bottom dweller, but that could change this year even if the wins don’t pile up.
