The FBI have gotten involved in the hunt for Javaris Crittenton, who has been charged in the fatal drive-by shooting of Jullian Jones, a mother of four. The FBI are working in conjunction with police in Los Angeles and Atlanta to track down the former first-rounder. Crittenton was not in custody as of Sunday afternoon.

The warrant for Crittenton’s arrest stems from an Aug. 19 shooting in southwest Atlanta. Crittenton was reportedly robbed back in April, and was looking for retribution when shots were fired from an SUV towards Jones and two men. One of the men was believed to be the intended target, but the bullets struck Jones instead. Jones died in the hospital while being operated on.

Crittenton lasted just three years in the NBA, infamously pulling a gun on Gilbert Arenas in the locker room during his brief stint with the Wizards. It is certainly a sad saga, especially for a young man with tons of potential and who seemingly grew up with good influences.
