Lingerie Football League: Week 6 Preview: Seattle Mist at Green Bay Chill
The Seattle Mist and Green Bay Chill both will look to capitalize on one another as the inter-conference opponents square off on Friday night (10:00 p.m. ET, MTV2) with the Mist looking for redemption after a disappointing 2010 season and the Chill attempting to make amends for a season opening 28-25 home loss to Minnesota.
SEATTLE MIST
Seattle enters the action looking to rebound after a sub-par 2010 season which saw the team finish in the lower half of the Western Conference. Mist Head Coach Chris Michaelson, known as one of the league’s best strategists and perhaps the brightest offensive mind in the game, is looking to capitalize what many league insiders consider a momentum-building off-season, with several key veterans and a promising rookie class combining to provide the Pacific Northwest with hope for a berth in the second season, this year.
Led into battle on offense by rookie quarterback Angela Rypien, the daughter of former Washington Redskin and Super Bowl MVP Mark Rypien, the Mist offense possesses extensive firepower and dangerous weaponry. The recipient of many Rypien passes this season is All-Fantasy wide receiver Jessica Hopkins, whose athleticism and instincts make her one of the best receivers in the game. At running back, All-Fantasy selection Kam Warner’s combination of raw power and agility, is sure to present opposing defenses with a significant challenge in containing her each week.
