Allen Iverson To Host NBA Lockout Tournament In Las Vegas

Allen Iverson is here to save us from the NBA Lockout. I think deep down we all knew this would happen.

The former NBA MVP will host a tournament featuring a collection of NBA players in Las Vegas on Nov. 12-13. Iverson, Kevin Durant, Amar’e Stoudemire, Paul Pierce and expected to headline the “Las Vegas Superstar Challenge,” which will feature four teams and be streamed online.

Earlier this week, Yahoo! Sports’ Marc Spears reported that the four teams will each be selected by captains, including Iverson. The tournament-style element gives the event a new twist on the pro-am and charity games that have popped up around the country because of the lack of NBA schedule.
