The Baseball Index: Game 6 Of The World Series Postponed

Major League Baseball has just announced that Game 6 of the World Series will be postponed tonight and will be played at 8:05 pm est tomorrow night. Game 7 will be moved to Friday night.
This postponement has advantages for both teams.
For the St. Louis Cardinals, they can pitch Chris Carpenter on three days rest in Game 7 if they so chose. However, Carpenter was relatively ineffective against the Philadelphia Phillies on three days rest in the NLDS.
For the Texas Rangers, they can pitch Derek Holland, who was so good in Game 4 on full rest if they want in Game 7 and move Matt Harrison into a relief role. My guess is the Rangers will stick with Harrison as the starter, have him on a short leash, and have Holland ready to go in the pen.
