Hope Solo’s Pro Soccer Franchise is Terminated!
Goalkeeper superstar Hope Solo is now without a professional soccer team. As is, Abby Wambach and several other members of the USWNT team that played in the World Cup final and captivated the nation this past summer.
The Women’s Professional (Soccer Association? League?) terminated their South Florida franchise after taking issues with the team’s owner all season.
The Board of Governors voted to terminate magicJack (well, there’s your first clue as to why they had to eliminated, what a crappy name! Not only is it soullessly corporate, but extremely weak sounding at the same time). The magicJack (10-8-2) were docked a point in the standings and a draft pick for not meeting league standards this past May.
