The Washington Redskins have claimed running back Tashard Choice off of waivers, and waived cornerback Brandyn Thompson. Last week the Redskins only played with two running backs because Tim Hightower was on injured reserve, and they were expected to bring up Evan Royster from the practice squad.
The Redskins didn’t bring up Royster from the practice squad, and the fact that they added Choice is not a good sign for Royster. Choice still will not be ready to play next week, but he should be active against Miami.
