From the SJ Kitchens: Caramel Apple Crumble Pie

For the topping:
1 cup rolled oats
1/2 brown sugar
1/4 all purpose flour
1/2 slivered almonds
1/4 tsp cinnamon (ground)
1/4 c butter, cubed

For the pie:
1 9 inch single pie crust
6 apples-peeled, cored, and thinly sliced
1 TBS lemon juice
1 TBS all purpose flour
1/2 cup Brown sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 caramel sauce

Preheat oven to 350

To make topping, combine oats, briwn sugar, flowe almonds and cinnamon. Cut in the butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Set aside

Roll out the pie dough into a circle and transfer to a 9 inch pie plate. Trim edges as needed. Place in oven while it is pre-heating to start to firm up. Toss the apples with the lemon juice to prevent browning. Combine flour, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Toss with apples to coat. Drizzle 1/4 cup of the caramel sauce over bottom of pie crust. Add in the apple mixture. Drizzle with remianing caramel sauce. Sprinkle crumble topping evenly over the apples.

Bake in pre-heated oven 50-60 min or until apples are tender and crust is browned.
