Lamont Peterson confident of beating Amir Khan

lamont-peterson-confident-of-beatinThe Havoc, Lamont Peterson, is fully confident of beating the currently unified World Boxing Association Super and International Boxing Federation Light Welterweight Champion, Amir Khan, in their upcoming fight on December 12, 2011 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center, Washington, D.C.

The 27-year-old Columbian pugilist, Peterson, who holds a record of winning 29 of his 31 professional fights (1 Draw), with 15 of his wins coming by the way of a knockout, told the media that he feels it is his time now to be at the top of the world.

“I’m more confident at that level, world championship fights, being more confident in doing what I know how to do,” Peterson said Tuesday. “I feel I’ve progressed enough to become a star in this sport. I believe that it’s my time as a professional to be on top.”
