The LFL’s most storied rivalry continues on Thursday as the Chicago Bliss travel to southern California to face the Los Angeles Temptation in a critical match-up for both teams.

For the Temptation, a win clinches the franchise’s third consecutive playoff berth while a loss eliminates the two-time defending champions. In Chicago’s case, a win-less home season very likely will prove to be their undoing, as the Bliss’ faint playoff hopes are largely dependent on not only their first-ever win against L.A., but require a 50-point margin of victory to ensure the franchise’s third consecutive playoff berth as well.

Should Chicago defeat Los Angeles by less-than-49 points, the Seattle Mist will move on to the playoffs, leaving both teams out in the cold.
