As the NFL is preparing for the highly anticipated Super Bowl rematch between the New England Patriots and New York Giants, the LFL is getting ready for an exciting rematch of their own. The defending champion Los Angeles Temptation will square off with the Philadelphia Passion Sunday afternoon in Lingerie Bowl IX at 4pm ET/1pm PT live on MTV2.

These two teams met exactly one year ago. LA pulled off the narrow 26-25 victory to earn their second straight title. On Sunday, they’ll be looking to do something you rarely see in sports; become three-peat and officially build a dynasty. Standing in their way, however, is Philadelphia.

As everyone knows by now, the Passion will be without their star Marirose Roach. But it doesn’t seem like the Temptation are going to change their game plan too drastically.

“They’re going to still come running hard at us,” Temptation Head Coach David ‘Biz’ Bizub says. “This is going to be a tough game. We’re bummed that (Roach) isn’t playing because she’s a great player. They’re going to make some adjustments. Jenny Butler can run just as well as MR. She’s a great player. She should be All-fantasy. We can’t have a letdown because we know MR’s not going to be there and we think it’s going to be a cakewalk. If we do that we’re going to get our asses handed to us.”
