“The Stack” 2-6-12

Welcome to Super Bowl Monday, where they still may be hungover in New York and Boston for different reasons. I still say that the Monday after the Super Bowl should be a national holiday andd no one has to work. It’s all about the Super Bowl today. We’ll have plenty on Peyton Manning, the NFL hall-of-fame inductees and reaction from the rest of the big sports stories from over the weekend and on Monday. Now, it’s time for some Super Bowl reaction in “the stack” for today, Monday, February 6:
New York Giants 21 New England 17
Wow! What a game. I’m still trying to decide though whether this was truly one of the greatest Super Bowls of all time. I’m leaning towards no, if you have a thought, I’d love to hear it. The New York Giants once again found themselves trailing in the fourth quarter, and once again Eli Manning rallied his team, leading them to a game-winning touchdown with under a minute to go as the Giants beat the New England Patriots 21-17. For his efforts, Manning was named Super Bowl MVP, the second time he’s won the award. Oh yeah, it’s his second Super Bowl win too. One more than his brother.
Coming up Tuesday: Reaction to the weekend’s other top stories and Monday’s top stories as well.
Comments and suggestions on what to write about are always welcomed and appreciated.
