Winner: Jered Weaver, Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim

Weaver was on his way to having “that year” in 2011 when he got off to a 6-0 start with a 0.99 ERA in April. Then May hit, and Weaver went 0-4, and that ended that. Weaver was solid the rest of the way and finished the 2011 season with 18 wins, a 2.41 ERA, 7.6 K/9, and a 5.6 WAR.
