On Wednesday the WBO completed its review of Timothy Bradley’s controversial split-decision win over Manny Pacquiao from June 9. A panel of five international judges re-watched the fight and scored it. The results showed what we all already knew: Pacquiao won the fight.
On the night in question, judges Duane Ford and C.J. Ross both had Bradley winning 115-113, while Jerry Roth scored it 115-113 for Pacquiao. The WBO’s panel of judges – who are all said to be accomplished with world title experience – disagreed with that June 9 ruling.
The judges, whose names were not disclosed, all gave the fight to Pacquiao and their scores were: 118-110, 117-111, 117-111, 116-112, 115-113.
