It’s been a rough summer for the Men’s Basketball Team. Derrick Rose and Dwight Howard got hurt at the end of the NBA season, and most recently Chris Paul has gone down with injury, although thoughts are that it isn’t too serious. Add that to the smaller losses like Chris Bosh and LaMarcus Aldridge and it started to look like a problem.
Even with all of those injuries though, the USA team should be favorites in this years Olympics. That journey will start soon, but first the team needs to be completed. There’s been 9 locks on the team announced, and Blake Griffin was added earlier today. The locks are Carmelo Anthony, Kobe Bryant, Tyson Chandler, Kevin Durant, LeBron James, Kevin Love, Chris Paul, Russel Westbrook and Deron Williams.
