British heavyweight David Haye insists his comeback is only for a match against Vitali Klitschko. Haye, who knocked out Dereck Chisora in the fifth round of his comeback bout, wants to end his career with a match against Vitali.
Haye has previously fought against Wladimir Klitschko, Vitali’s younger brother, and lost. Back then, Haye decided to retire following his loss to Wladimir. However, after a public brawl with Dereck Chisora, Haye came back to avenge his humiliation. Now, the British heavyweight is looking forward to a match with the Ukrainian WBC world heavyweight champion.
“He’s the only fighter, who can make my return a prolonged one. Whether my performance against Chisora inspires him to accept a fight with me or run in the other direction instead, I have no idea,” said Haye when asked about his career plans.
