First of all sorry I’ve been gone for a year, nothing bad has happened, quite the opposite; it’s just school is crazy.
Second of all sorry but my absence is probably going to be maintained quite a bit longer, this year at school is going to be even more hectic.
Third of all, despite my busyness, I’ve still kept up on sports, and just felt like giving my thoughts on what I’ve missed, or at least what I can remember of it, sport to sport.
Basketball-I dislike LeBron, but good on him for winning a ring, especially against THAT team, or at least, THAT SOB owner. Pacers future is looking good IMO.
Football-I didn’t even watch the Superbowl. Although the reason is actually because I was at Confirmation, I wouldn’t have even if I had the chance. I honestly didn’t realize the Giants had won until 3 days later. I’m proud that I was able to tune it out for that long. Seahawks are going to be garbage this year. Flynn will be a failure. I do prefer TO though to what my 49ers will be getting in Moss.
NHL-The Canucks deserved what they got in the playoffs, but you’re joking yourself if you believe the Kings were the best team in the NHL last year. They just had the best run at the end. A lot of people seem to pick them to win the Conference, I just laugh hard. This is of course, if there is a season, WHICH IF THE PIGHEAD OWNERS RUNNING THE LEAGUE GOT A CLUE, THERE WOULD BE. The NHL is actually doing things right, and if another season is missed, there are going to be big consequences.
MLB-Tony LaRussa finished on top, good for him. The Ryan Braun situation is outrageous; he should’ve been suspended this year. The Mariners are unbelievable. I don’t care if Ichiro took a bunch of salary and was blocking some younger guys space, YOU DO NOT TRADE HIM TO THE YANKEES, AS THEY’RE COMING TO PLAY AT SAFECO, FOR 2 F- GRADE PROSPECTS, and oh yeah by the way, GIVE THE !#%$#! YANKEES MONEY. There were other interested teams (like San Francisco), and, being perfectly frank, A USED PINTO HAS MORE VALUE THAN THOSE HOBOS WE GOT IN RETURN.
Penn State-The NCAA is beyond the line. No one left there had anything to do with what happened. And the punishments are going to go well beyond just the football program. I’ll tell you that as someone this year who is looking at colleges, I don’t care that this happened within the Athletics program, I the ENTIRE SCHOOL is going to be paying the price. Students, (especially out state people), are going to be more reluctant to attend.
The NCAA felt that they had to do something, but honestly, at this point it’s not an athletic matter. The one responsible is above all else Sandusky, as well to a lesser extent everyone that knew about it (Paterno, McQueary), but those men aren’t being punished by the sanctions, they’ve all packed up and left. Paterno’s legacy maybe, but he’s dead, do you really think he cares at this point? It is a legal matter, and all the Sanctions have done is punished an entire community that had no part in the crime.
Olympics-I haven’t enjoyed watching athletic competition that much in a while, though after listening to the commentators a bit, I wanted to go hang out and listen to Cowboy fans, whose homerism can’t hold “a torch” to those guys 
Pearl Jam-Saw a video of them singing “The Fixer” wearing Devo shirts, I was so happy I could have burst.
Skyrim-Amazing, simply amazing.
Can’t think of anything beyond that at the moment. I’ll flutter in and out over this week, and beyond that, I’m gone until I’d say middle of next May? Upcoming I have College searching, College applying, Eagle Finishing, 4 APs, SAT IIs, plays, Math Team, Science Team, Robotics, it’s just overwhelming.
