5 Keys to success for the Eagles:

| 1. Stop turning the ball over
Based on what we’ve seen so far, this is easier said than done. Vick has been awful taking care of the football, and unless he’s protected I don’t see it changing. Which leads me to: 2. If you don’t run the ball, I’m going cauterize the insides of your nose with a cattle brand, Marty! Don’t stand there eating cheese curds, Andy, make him run the fucking ball! Oh that’s right you don’t like running the ball either. FUCK! I think that about sums up my thoughts when watching nearly every Eagles game. Especially the closely contested ones. There is pretty much no valid reason to throw the ball 50+ times with Michael Vick, and there never has been. Your best offensive player is running back and you have a stable of 4 so…RUN THE BALL RUN IT RUN RUN RUN PLEASE I”M BEGGING YOU RUN THE FUCKING BALL! 3. Put the game out of reach early. I have my issues with calling Eli Manning elite, but I have no doubts that when the chips are down and he has to be on, the guy is clutch. I think the best way to counteract that is to make sure the game is out of reach even for a clutch player. Easier said than done. 4. Short Passing game Its a pretty well know fact that Vick takes a long time to throw the ball. He plain holds on the ball too long. However, The offense just doesn’t seem designed to give him an outlet when he’s in trouble. I know Reid and Morninwheg like the long ball but it seems as if they just refuse to give Vick some options underneath when he’s in trouble. 5. Lock down the Giants big play receivers. The Eagles have mixed results with good receiving corps, last week against the Cardinals and Fitz being one of the poorer showings. They got good matchups away from the starting corners of the Eagles and exploited a smaller rookie in Brandon Boykin. They need to keep the Giants receivers from getting the big play. |

5 keys to the game for the Giants

|
1. Pressure Vick
When Vick has been under pressure, he makes awful decisions. And when you can force him to scramble a little he also fumbles 2. Keep Andre Brown involved I know it’s only been a game and a half, but Andre Brown has looked better than Ahmad Bradshaw has in years. I would hate to see him phased out now that Bradshaw is back. 3. A little help at WR With Nicks missing another game, the Giants need Reuben Randle and Ramses Barden to step up again. The Eagles have a pretty good secondary and they need all the help they can get for Cruz and Manning. 4. Stop the run game LeSean McCoy is great and when he’s going the offense is going. Keep the ball in Vick’s hands and make him beat you.
