Briton fighter Amir Khan is hopeful of scoring a dominant victory against American unbeaten fighter Carlos Molina. Khan, who is going through a rough patch in his career, has not yet given up on his dreams of fighting pound for pound kings Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather. The former WBA and IBF unified champion believes a win against Molina can get him closer to a fight with either Pacquiao or Mayweather.
“It’s one of the steps I have to take to fight the best out there, the likes of [Floyd] Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao,” Khan said in an interview with Boxing News TV. “But I’m taking it one step at a time, I’m not looking at the big fights.”
Khan insisted that he is in a career rebuilding process and that the fight against Molina is an important one for him.
