All across the USA today fans are either stoked about their favorite NFL team’s play yesterday or completely dejected and frustrated. The Stack did very well this week so far going 11-1 with one more game tonight between the Detroit Lions and Chicago Bears. More on that matchup in a bit. First, it’s time for some reaction from all of Sunday’s games so let’s get right to it and see what’s in “the stack” for today, Monday, October 22:
Tennessee 35 Buffalo 34
So Chris Johnson finally showed up. What a day he had rushing for 195 yards and two scores. The Titans may want to keep Matt Hasselbeck in at quarterback regardless of whenever Jake Locker is healthy. Clearly the Titans are responding positively to Hassebeck under center. Once again, the Bills defense fails to make a play late in the game. All that money they paid in the offseason has so far not beeen worth it.
Dallas 19 Carolina 14
Don’t know if both teams really wanted to win this game. Cam Newton has become “Scam” Newton with his play this year. What a difference between year one and year two. His counterpart Tony Romo had a really good game. The Cowboys got a much needed win and can really make a statement if they beat the New York Giants next week.
