Brooklyn Nets hand Charlotte Bobcats their 17th straight defeat

Charlotte Bobcats came into this game looking to end their 16-game skid, but all eyes were on Brooklyn Nets, who were playing their first game under interim coach P.J. Carlesimo. The Nets defeated the Bobcats 97-81 in front of the home crowd on Friday night to hand the struggling Bobcats their 17th straight defeat.

Brook Lopez posted a double-double; he finished off with 26 points and 11 rebounds for the Nets. Deron Williams also came out of his mini slump and posted 19 points, going 3 of 5 from the three point land while Joe Johnson had 16 points.
