The Cleveland Browns had Oregon Ducks head football coach Chip Kelly in their facility for seven hours on Friday and allowed him to walk away. Not only that, but the Browns have also said they “will not hire” Kelly after the meeting. The folks involved in the situation say the lack of a deal is Kelly’s fault because he was indecisive about making the jump to the NFL, but that’s a load of horse radish. Kelly wouldn’t have met for seven hours if he was indecisive. The Browns simply dropped the ball here.
