Super Bowl parties are the next best thing from actually being at the big game. Everyone knows “the spread” is awesome at Super Bowl parties, so if you’re planning on hosting one, be ready to spend a hefty sum on the grub. If you’ve hosted or attended an epic Super Bowl party, you know what we’re talking about. However, the facts about exactly how much of each food goes where will absolutely blow your mind. We appreciate our partners from Vivid Seats from providing the graphic above that illustrates the following:
Every year during the Super Bowl, 69.6 million pounds of avocados are consumed. Don’t like avocados? You’re not alone, but you probably eat some sort of food that contains them.
On the day of Super Bowl XLVI in 2012, approximately two million pizzas were consumed and it’s same to assume most of them were larges or bigger.
