Among the more bizarre rumors we’ve been hearing over the past few weeks was the story that LSU head football coach Les Miles was courting Cam Cameron to run the team’s offense. Honestly, I heard this about two weeks ago and dismissed it out of hand as a bit of a weird connection. Apparently, Miles is just that crazy.
Jim Kleinpeter (awesome name) of the New Orleans Times-Picayune is reporting that LSU is working on a deal to hire Cameron as the team’s offensive coordinator. That is according to “a source close to the school.”
Kleinpeter claims the deal is in the works but some details are still being figured out and an announcement is expected next week.
