No one was really surprised when it was announced on Monday–the first day of NFL free agency–that former Tennessee Titans tight end Jared Cook signed with the St. Louis Rams. Cook showed flashes of brilliance in four seasons with the Titans, but never could become the star he is with the constant rotation of quarterbacks in Tennessee. Now with a talented young quarterback in Sam Bradford, Cook should start to put up the numbers expected from him coming out of South Carolina.
