I guess Han Solo and Chewbacca haven’t been speaking to each other lately. And the relationship between scoundrel and wookie took a turn for the worse on ABC late night. Harrison Ford, on to promote the Jackie Robinson/Branch Rickey biopic “42? (essay on that film here) ended his interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night with a “I’ll see you in hell!” to a Chewbacca in the audience.
Channeling Han Solo no doubt. Ford also delivered a line that was kind of like Anakin Skywalker in Episode III “If you’re not with me, you’re my enemy.” Remember Han Solo, “only a Sith deals in absolutes.” Ford wasn’t taking any questions about the new Star Wars franchise, in which it is rumored he’ll reprise the role of Han Solo.
