The Sports Bank.net: Paula Deen “Embattled,” more controversial than ever

Embattled celebrity chef Paula Deen is losing sponsors and television gigs left and right. Paula Deen may not have much support from the corporate or broadcast world, but she does have support from TMZ’s Harvey Levin, who tweeted his solidarity for Paula Deen Monday morning. (Yes, TMZ, that bastion of classical writing on the Internet; the best prose you’ll find anywhere.)

Here’s Harvey Levin’s tweets from this morning:

“I think Paula Deen got screwed. I don’t believe she’s a racist, a hateful and evil person… she’s an old lady who’s way behind the times. She confessed to using the N word in 1986. She made stupid comments since then. Not everyone goes from 0 to 60 at the same rate. When Kobe made homophobic slurs on the court a few months back … did he get fired?

Paul M. Banks is the owner of The Sports Bank.net. (“Quasi-endorsed” by Philadelphia Eagles Coach Chip Kelly) He’s also an author who also contributes regularly to MSN, Fox Sports , Chicago Now, Walter Football.com and Yardbarker

Banks has appeared on the History Channel, as well as Clear Channel, ESPN and CBS radio all over the world. President Barack Obama follows him on Twitter (@PaulMBanks), like him on Facebook
