With SCOTUS striking down DOMA yesterday, it’s one of the best times ever for Gay Pride in America. And coincidentally the Gay Pride Parade is coming up this weekend. I actually hate parades, and big crowds for that matter, but I’ve attended the Gay Pride parade at least 4 or 5 times in my life. the Chicago Fire soccer club will be a huge part of the parade this year.
For all those bigots complaining about gay becoming so mainstream today…uhm are you aware that boy bands ruled the ’90s from a pop culture perspective? That is a genre of music dominated by homosexuals, and it was pretty in America 15-20 years ago. So today’s celebration of gay rights isn’t exactly a new phenomenon.
