The Chicago White Sox have traded starting pitcher Chris Sale to the the Boston Red Sox in exchange for Yoan Moncada, Michael Kopech and two other prospects to #WhiteSox, according to FOX Sports’ Ken Rosenthal. The Chicago Cubs held a news conference Tuesday afternoon to introduce Jed Hoyer as “Executive Vice President and General Manager”. They also introduced Jason McLeod as “Senior Vice President, Scouting and Player Development”. Despite the short amount of time since the end of the World Series, the baseball world is still turning as team’s are cutting down their rosters to make a run for the hot stove in December. Here’s a few players who survived the first day of cuts, but weren’l so lucky:
