Many weaknesses, many strengths came into play in the Milwaukee Brewers 3-2 10th inning victory over the Arizona Diamondbacks on Friday, a victory that sends the Brewers to the National League Championship Series against the St. Louis Cardinals. When I heard last night that the Florida Marlins has optioned one of their most popular players, Logan Morrison, to AAA, I wondered why? I had to go look at his numbers. He was hitting .249, with 17 HR and 60 RBI. Apparently hitting only .230 over the past month though did him in. So that got me to wondering? Just how high are the expectations in Florida with the team sitting in last place in the National League East? [...]
