He needs more surgery soon, but he has most of his memory and motor function. One arm is not working as well as it used to, but hopefully it gets better. They are still waiting for a little swelling to go down before more surgery (he needs a plate in his skull). He should make a (mostly) full recovery, with the exception of some memory loss from around the time of the incident and partial hearing loss in one ear. All in all its pretty positive considering we were thinking there was a chance the injury could be fatal when it happened.
Yea, I'm ok. My brother fainted for no apparent reason friday night and caused major head trauma, which required brain surgery. The prayers seem to be working, he's still in critical condition but he's out of the ICU. I feel guilty I'm a 1000 miles away and can't get to him, though.
