I'm ready for season two! I think they have it spaced out between the walking Dead series on purpose. They both need to cough up more episodes this time, 10 or 12 doesn't cut it!

I don't watch the show, but I have a buddy that absolutely loves the book series, and the show.

I really hate Joffrey.

I believe they're already set for season 3 and 4, which will cover the 3rd book.

The books are one of the best fantasy series I've ever read. Its fantastic. I dug the first season and it prompted me to read the books.

Nearly every HBO series (even the miniseries) run on 10 episode seasons and I doubt that they are going to change that model. It's an incredibly expensive show to produce and I believe it's already been said that more episodes would hinder the quality of the overall season.

1. Yes, Joffrey is a douche.

2. HBO has not bought a third season yet, at least according to an interview that the producers gave a couple weeks ago. But yes, the plan is to split the third book (which is huge) into two seasons. Although it was also pointed out in that interview that they aren't locked into doing just the second book in the second season. The first season ended with parts of the second book and even third book included in it.

That's a shame. Storm of Swords is easily my favorite of the series, but I really love the last half of Feast.

Some thoughts on ep 2:

After that scene in ep 2 between Tyrion & Cersie ,about their mother dying while giving birth to Tyrion, I was like damn that is harsh. The Lannister's are messed up, but intriguing.

I'm guessing that Arya & Gendry's futures are intertwined? I haven't read the books so it's all a guess...lol.

Balon Greyjoy of the Iron Isles is a barrel of fun. I'd like to drink a beer & shoot the shit with that guy. He is going after Winterfell isn't he? That's my guess. Theon felt his sister up.Sure he didn't know it was his sister but still.

The Baratheon brothers both wish to be king. Stannis hangs out with a religious fanatic with some sort of gift of prophecy? Renly has 100,000 men,so what the heck is he waiting for?

Wa that a giant that picked that baby up north of the wall?
