Contest The "I SURVIVED THE LOCK OUT" Contest

The "I SURVIVED THE LOCK OUT" Contest

This is meant to be a silly, fun contest.

All you have to do is post at least a paragraph

on how the NFL lockout has personally been a struggle

of epic prorportions. How this lockout has

damaged your football psyche more than

any other football fan at SJ. SO plead your case.

Exaggerate, use lot of adjectives

And the person with the saddest story as voted on by

a poll of your peers wins the TSHIRT. You have

till Sunday nite to lay down a sad, pitiful story.

Quote:
TSHIRTS donated by ooShirts, a Great CUSTOM T-SHIRT company

ooShirts puts out a quality product for a low price, ordering is easy. They make great gifts, they are great for team apparel or any creative project you have in mind. Check them out here http://www.ooshirts.com/ (our thanks for sponsoring our site in this endeavor) What I like about it them is you get an instant quote, so there is no guessing and you can design your shirt around your budget. I also like the great support they have there if you need help with your design, want to use one of theirs, or have any questions.

How I survived the NFL Lock out.

The first day,I went to sleep and I woke up
The second day, I went to sleep and I woke up
The third day I went to sleep and I woke up...

I missed the OTA's and the free agent signing period and the rookies getting ungodly contracts that they dont deserve...

I have enjoyed the off season of Steeler troubles...Mendenhal's tweets,Harrisons comments and Wards off the fields issues...

hope it translated to locker room unrest and an 8-8 season!

Upset

To whom it may concern...

My name is Dr Metta Yarger. I'm writing to explain my patient's fragile mental state over the past few months. due to her inability to cope with this tragic situation, she has requested that I submit this written account on her behalf.

My patient's first sign of stress occurred on Febryuary 21st. The thought of life without an NFL season prompted her to seek out professional help from my offices. Mis Ducky complained of nightmares. It seemed, based on her dreams, she was afraid of wasted Sundays.

"All I see is baseball...A-Rod & Jeter everywhere. I am frightened".

I suggested that she focus on te upcoming NFL Draft. That seemed to help until Apri 21st when in our weekly session, she started crying and saying that her nightmares had returned. Once more, the dreams were of baseball on Sundays. I continued seeing her & talking thru things with her as the Draft passed. On May 21st, she informed me that her husband of 2 years, Mr Dirk Bynum, had kicked her and her adorable dog, Cuban Sr, to the futon in the den.

Over the summer, my client slipped into depression and spent her days staring at her TV set, earnestly awaiting news from ESPN that never came. On June 18th, Mr Bynum took Cuban Sr and left.

"He said he was leaving for South Beach".

My patient screamed during our session later than same day.

I feel I must stop seeing Miss Ducky, as I fear I am unable to treat her problem. I feel the NFL Lockout has ruined her life & shattered her spirit. She is now homeless, jobless, and alone. Forever wandering the streets, she seeks out any TV that she can and turns it to ESPN, hoping for an end to the NFL Lockout, and an end to her living nightmare.

Sincerely,

Dr. Metta Yarger, PhD.

Question

So....with the entry deadline tonight, when will the voting begin? Who's the "poll of your peers" (which phonetically sounds like something Mike, Milla & LMD would be in to)?

I'm old; I'm ugly; I'm a grouch; I'm fat; I'm dumber than Reg, and believe me, that's dumb! But, most of all, if I don't have my beloved Cowboys to watch, I don't have a life at all. So, yeah, surviving this lockout has been a major accomplishment on my part. So, I deserve the shirt.
